This Try Dive in Goa is a fun half-day activity that lets you learn the basics of scuba diving and do one short dive, supervised by an experienced instructor. It's the perfect way to see if you have an aptitude for diving or if you'll be comfortable underwater. And where better to learn than in sunny Goa, where the water is warm, the underwater world is friendly, and there's always a beer waiting for you at the end of the day!
You'll do a short training session of about 45 minutes at a pool at Candolim, after which you head out on a boat to Grande Island. The ride out is fun, and you might even spot dolphins alongside your boat. At Grande Island, you'll kit up and do your first Try Dive in Goa. You'll be diving to a maximum depth of 40 feet, in a 30-40 minute dive.
This Try Dive can be attempted by both swimmers and non-swimmers, but you should comfortable in the water.
IMPORTANT: This is not a fixed departure trip. It requires a minimum of 2 pax for a booking confirmation. On the boat, you'll be provided with fruit, drinking water, and biscuits. A packed lunch is given to you on your return. You'll also return with photographs of your scuba dive in Goa.
Head to the warm water and soft sands of Goa, where you'll find peace and happiness above water, and magic and wonder underwater. You'll be doing your scuba training at a resort that is just 500 metres from Candolim beach. Once you're ready, you'll head out in a boat to Grande Island, which is a well-loved snorkelling and scuba diving spot. If you're lucky, you might even spot some curious dolphins. They're known to come to visit divers in this area!

Ýou'll have to report at 07:00 hrs to the dive resort. Make sure you eat breakfast before you get here, so you can participate in the training without distractions. You'll start off with a briefing followed by a training session in the pool. This helps you get used to moving and breathing underwater. During the pool dive, you'll learn the basic underwater skills and get comfortable in the dive gear. When you're sea-ready, you'll set off in a boat to Grande Island. En route you might see dolphins leaping beside the boat, and if you're lucky, they'll visit you during your dive too! Your first scuba dive in Goa takes place at Grande Island, and you'll spend 30-40 minutes underwater. On the boat, you'll be served biscuits, fruit, and drinking water. When your scuba dive is over, you'll be brought back to the dive resort where you'll get a packed lunch, your PADI certificate of completion, and photographs from your dive. Trip ends here.
