There's a strange and beautiful world under the surface of the ocean, and scuba diving is the most exhilarating way to see it. If you've done snorkelling before, you'll know that you've only been a visitor. There's so much more to explore and experience when you go scuba diving to the bottom of the sea.

This Try-a-Dive gives you your first taste of scuba diving under controlled circumstances, with no distractions of marine life, and at the hands of experienced instructors. You'll begin in the shallow end to give you time to get used to the gear, and you can move slowly to the deeper end as you gain confidence.

You can choose from three time slots upon confirmation: 09:00 hrs, 12:00 hrs, 15:00 hrs.

  • Introduction to scuba

Your session begins with some paperwork and a short trial to make sure your equipment fits well and is the correct weight. You'll receive a detailed briefing, after which you and your instructor head to the shallow end of the pool. You'll dip beneath the surface when you're ready, to get used to breathing and moving underwater. As you gain confidence, your instructor will take you to the deep end, to teach you some skills, like how to empty your mask if water enters it. When you're completely at ease, you'll be taken to the scuba well so you can go 16 feet deep. This is the ultimate thrill and a perfect way to end your two-hour session.

Do arrive on time so that you can make the most of your session and learn at your own pace.
