    Discover Scuba Diving in Phuket

    Get a taste of adventure in scuba diving on this PADI Discover Scuba Diving trip in Phuket. On this trip, you will learn the basics of scuba diving and how to use the diving equipment, and you will go scuba diving in the blue Andaman Sea twice for a duration of 45 mins per dive. Your dive sites will be around Racha Yai island, as it is a perfect location for beginner scuba divers - the water here is relatively calm and clear. You will get to witness the rich marine life around the island and if you are lucky, you might even spot a Whale shark and Manta rays.

    On this trip, your dives will take place around the Racha Yai Island, which is one of the more popular dive spots in Phuket. The waters here are visually stunning, with a rich marine life and coral reefs. It is ideal for beginner divers as the water has good visibility of up to 20 meters, and relatively calm currents. The dive sites in Racha Yai include: Bangalow Bay, Siam Bay, Bay 1 and 2, Racha Yai Wrecks, Staghorn Reef, and Home Run Reef.

    Discover Scuba Diving in Phuket Photos

    Today, you will be picked up from your hotel at 07:00 hrs and driven to Chalong pier, where you will board the boat that will take you to Racha Yai. During the boat ride, you will be briefed about the basics, the do's and don’t's of scuba diving. Upon reaching the dive site, you will dive twice in the gorgeous sea around the island. Under the supervision of a certified instructor, you will dive up to 40 feet. Lunch will be served between the two dives. You will then be dropped back to your hotel. Your trip ends here.

    A full refund will be provided for cancellations made prior to 18:00 hrs the night before the Discover Scuba Dive trip in Phuket.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are required to follow instructions of the dive instructor during this scuba dive in Phuket.

    Consumption of alcohol, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the trip.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing any general disturbance.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    Hotel pick-up and drop-off is included in this package, only if your hotel is situated in Patong, Karon, Kata, Kamala, Kalim, and Chalong. Accordingly, please inform the tour operator regarding the address of your hotel a week prior to your scheduled scuba dive.

    Travellers from outside Thailand are requested to carry enough cash in the local currency to cover tips to staff and other incidental expenses.

    All prices displayed are subject to fluctuations based on international currency exchange rates at the time of booking. Accordingly, prices may be subject to a foreign currency premium/discount at the time of booking.

    The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap, accident or loss of life during the scuba dive in Phuket.
