This PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course takes you to a few of the dive spots around Pattaya and Samae San Islands. Depending on the exact dive spot selected by the dive instructors, you can expect to swim alongside a variety of sea turtles, blue-spotted rays, barracudas, barrel sponges and several other species. The underwater visibility is relatively clear with low to moderate flow of ocean currents.
One of the more popular electives offered by the dive center is a wreck dive. The oceans around Pattaya are home to the wrecks of several ships, like HTMS Mataphon and HTMS Khram, that used to be a part of the Royal Thai Navy, but were scuttled to encourage wreck diving.
