    Found in the Baramula district of Jammu and Kashmir, Gulmarg is a popular skiing destination for travelers from over the world. Situated in the Pir Panjal Range within the western Himalayas, this region is home to a number of beautiful soft bunny slopes, giving skiing enthusiasts the perfect platform to practice and experience this skill.

    During this trip, you’ll be skiing in the snowy slopes of Gulmarg and on the last day you’ll be transported to the spectacular Dal Lake, where you’ll spend a night in a comfortable houseboat.

    Beginner's Skiing Course in Gulmarg, Jammu Kashmir Photos

    A shuttle will pick you up from Srinagar Airport and drive you to your hotel in Gulmarg. As it is your first day, you'll spend it mainly acclimatizing to the high altitude climate. Later, you'll meet your guide and check into the hotel. You'll have the remaining day to explore Gulmarg. At night return to the hotel.

    Overnight in hotel room.

    Based on your flight time you'll be picked up from the Srinagar Airport via shuttle service and taken to your hotel in Gulmarg. You'll stay in a twin sharing room in the Hotel Highlands Park. The rooms are warm and consists of all the necessary amenities. No meal is included in today's package.

    It's your first day of skiing course; wake up early, and post-breakfast, meet your instructor. First, you'll begin with some warm up exercises, after which, the operator will brief you about the basics. You'll then practise skiing on the snow till lunch break. Post-lunch, return to the slopes to hone the skills you previously learned. In the evening, you'll return to the hotel room for dinner and overnight stay.

    As it is your first skiing day, you'll wake up to a hot breakfast. Please note that you are required to buy lunch and dinner at your own expense. You'll spend the night in the same twin sharing hotel room.

    Today, you'll follow the same routine; however, your ability to ski may have been improved. With proper practise and guidance, you'll find yourself gliding down the beautiful slopes of Gulmarg in no time. Once again, before sunset return to the hotel room for dinner and rest.

    After skiing for the whole day return to your twin sharing hotel room in Gulmarg for the night. Today's package includes breakfast only.

    Today, wake up early and hit the slopes to enjoy the last day of skiing. As you've been trained before, you'll be skiing on your own with supervision. By lunchtime, return to the hotel to return the skiing rental. By 16:00 hrs, a shuttle will transfer you to the houseboat on Dal Lake. Here you'll enjoy the night in the water over a delicious dinner and quality time.

    On the last day of skiing, you'll wake up to a healthy breakfast. By 16:00 hrs, a shuttle will transfer you to your houseboat on the Dal Lake where you'll spend the night. Once on the boat, enjoy some hot dinner while admiring this dazzling lake under the stars.

    Wake up early and post breakfast, you'll depart for Srinagar Airport via an SUV. Your trip ends here.

    Your trip ends before nightfall.

    On the last of your trip, you'll be given a delicious breakfast. Based on your departure time a shuttle will transport you back either to Gulmarg or to Srinagar, or to the Sriinagar Aiport.

    If you cancel the beginner's skiing course in Gulmarg 45 days or more prior to the trip: Full refund, excluding the deposit amount.

    If you cancel the beginner's skiing course in Gulmarg less than 45 days prior to the trip: No refund.

    No show: No refund.

    All cancellations/refunds on this trip will be processed after a deduction of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

      'We were a group of 5 for the triund trek on 31st dec.. We had a great experience .. I had concerns over the cold temperature as we were to stay in the tents..however it wasn't so cold once you zip the tents and get inside the sleeping bag...there were blankets provided too along with a hot water bag to keep you warm My 2nd concern was that we wanted to stay a little away from the main tents area as we wanted a little solitude...our camps were set up 500 m from the main triund base and it was totally worth it... Our tents were also set up in such a way that we could see the sunrise right from our tent The other services were also to our satisfaction. The food service was good . Our biggest gratitude is towards our guide Aman who took special care as one of our friends foot swelled up and became extremely difficult for her to move . He walked with her throughout the trek and guided her'

      'My trek was for kareri lake It was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The arrangements were perfect and the food was perfect too. Ashish sir and rajat sir were amazing. They were really helpful and we ( every person ) had a blast. This trek is one which would be etched in my memory. The certificate at the end was icing on the cake.       I would totally recommend TGN to plan your trips. I had booked the Chadar Trek with them...it was my first trek so I had my reservations but Harshal from the The Great Next was very very helpful...he guided me regarding even the most trivial doubts that I had and was very patient throughout the entire booking procedure...the trek was very well organised and we had absolutely no trouble during the entire trek be it accommodations, experienced trek guides and porters, basic utilities on the trek...everything was taken care of...I totally plan to book my next trip with TGN.       'I booked My first trek with these guys (Kheerganga) and it was an Awesome experience. The trek guide (Keshav Sir) was amazing. He was very Frank, A great motivator and the Best person I've met. The trek itself was amazing and had all sorts of scenic views(WaterFalls etc). The person I've contacted (Manthan Gupta) for all my booking query was also cooperative and helpful as required. The problem is just the breakfast you just Can't serve ONLY BreadJam for 16-17 KM of Trek Right ?'

      Pathetic experience. They are broker they dont do anything . These guys just do the tie up with local treakking group who are responcible for all the activitites. They tie up with cheaper treakking group and they provide worst quality of food, worst tent, worst and dirty sleeping bags .
