This 11-day Srinagar-Leh-Manali motorbike odyssey is an unusual and off-beat way to explore the Ladakhi terrain. You'll start off in Srinagar, and ride across some of the most extreme landscapes that the country has to offer. Bikers from around the world come together to camp under the stars, ride through desolate mountains, battle the weather and roads, visit monuments and monasteries. This Srinagar-Leh-Manali motorbiking adventure is one that you'll never forget.

Please note that an additional refundable, security deposit of INR 10,000 per motorbike to be paid before the start of the Leh motorbiking trip.

COSTING: This trip cost is for 2 riders on one bike. The cost for a solo rider is INR 46,725. For a seat in the MUV, the cost is INR 36,225. To bring your own bike including fuel, the cost for the trip is INR 25,725.

Destination

You'll start your Srinagar-Leh-Manali motorbiking trip in Srinagar, and ride past the historic town of Kargil, the moonscape of Lamayuru, the cold deserts of Nubra, and multi-coloured waters of Pangong Lake. You'll thunder through some of the highest motorable passes and roads in the world, including famous Khardung-La and Tanglang-La. En route, you'll be staying at clean, comfortable guesthouses or hotels, and camping on the banks of rivers, lakes, or in the laps of mountains. As you leave the rocky vistas of Leh and Ladakh behind, Manali welcomes you with pleasant greenery and fruit orchards in bloom.

Take an hour in the morning to test drive your motorbikes in the streets of Srinagar and get comfortable with them. On your first day of motorbiking, you'll be travelling from Srinagar to Kargil, passing through some of the most epic landscapes of barren mountains, painted different shades of grey and brown. You'll ride through Sonmarg, alongside the Indus river, covering about 200 kms today. By evening, you'll arrive at Kargil. Overnight in a hotel at Kargil.

Set out from Kargil and ride towards Leh stopping enroute at Dha-Hanu village. You will also ride past the confluence of Zanskar and Indus Rivers and stop for blessings at the famous Gurudwara Pather Sahib. Overnight in a hotel at Leh.

Take the national highway heading north from Leh and ride your motorbikes towards the Nubra valley. You'll ride through Khardung-La, the highest motorable road in the world, and into the cold deserts of the Nubra valley. With rolling sand dunes and scree slopes that stretch into the distance, it'll feel like you're the only ones in the world. Overnight in desert camps at Nubra valley.

Today you’ll ride from Nubra Valley to Turtuk Village on the banks of the Shyok River, and the last village before the LOC. After exploring the village, you will ride back to Nubra Valley for the night.

Today you'll set off on an adventurous ride to Pangong Lake, navigating your bike over the rocky route parallel to the winding Shyok river. The sight that awaits you will be one that you will never forget. Your campsite is beside the gorgeous Pangong Lake, in Swiss tents with attached washrooms.

Today, you'll ride from Pangong to Leh, through Kela Pass and Chang La Pass stopping en route to see Druk White Lotus School, Choglamsar and Shanti Stupa. Back at Leh, you'll check into your hotel for the night. Overnight in a hotel on triple sharing basis.

After a hearty breakfast, you ride towards Sarchu riding through Nakee La, Lachung La, and Tanglang La passes. Today you bid adieu to breathtaking Ladakh and ride into gorgeous Himachal Pradesh.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation made within 30 to 15 days from the Date of Travel – Credit Voucher worth 100% of Received Amount.

Cancellation made within 15 days from the Date of Travel – Credit Voucher worth 50% of Received Amount.

The Credit Voucher shall be valid for one year from the date of Cancellation.

The Credit Voucher can be redeemed against the equivalent or higher amount of the booked package amount.

In case of Lockdown or Covid Positive Report, Credit Voucher worth 100% of Received Amount with a validity of 1 year from the date of travel will be credited.

Rules on trip

Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

You're required to wear a helmet while riding the motorbike.

If you leave the group mid-itinerary, for medical reasons or otherwise, you'll need to pay any extra costs involved in transporting your motorbike to the end-point of the trip.

Any damage to the motorbike and helmet during the tour will be deducted from the security deposit paid at the start of the trip. Any damages over and above the deposit will be borne by the traveller.

Travellers are required to follow instructions of the road captain during this Ladakh motorbiking trip.

The tour operator reserves the right to alter or cancel the itinerary of this Ladakh motorbiking trip due to any unforeseen circumstances to ensure maximum safety of travellers and staff. Costs arising due to such a change in itinerary are borne by the traveller.
