  • Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar

Participants meet the supplier at Srinagar Airport. They are taken sightseeing to areas of interest like Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, which are Mughal gardens, and the Shankaracharya Temple. After the tour, participants will be driven to the base camp in Sonamarg, also known as the Gateway to Ladakh. At the base camp, an experienced guide conducts a briefing about what's in store on the trek and explains the do's and don'ts.

    Overnight stay is in tents.

Day 2: Trek from Sonamarg to Nichnai

After breakfast, participants start moving towards Nichini, following a trail to the left of the road bridge. The ascent along the Gujjar is quite steep. Participants will trek through steep meadows of Shokardi, reach Nichnai and camp there for the night in tents.

Day 3: Trek from Nichnai to Vishnasar and Kirshansar Lake

Participants wake up and leave early morning and begin the climb to Nichnai pass (above 4000 m). After crossing the pass, they begin their descent to Vishnasar and Kirshansar Lake. In the 5 hours of trekking, participants walk through meadows filled with wild flowers and sparkling streams. At the lake, participants can try their hand at trout fishing.

    Overnight stay in tents.

Day 4: Trek from Krishansar Lake to Gadsar Lake

Participants trek to Gadsar Lake, which is also known as the lake of flowers, through Gadsar Pass (4080 m). Nanga Parbat is visible from the Pass. The descent to Gadsar Lake is through Yamsar Lake.

Overnight stay in tents, situated next to the Gujjar encampment.

Day 5: Trek from Gadsar Lake to Satsar Lake

An easy ascent takes trekkers to Poshpatri (the valley of flowers). From there, they walk to Megandub, Dupta Pan, which is a high-altitude stream, and then walk to Satsar Lake. Satsar is a collection of seven lakes, which cascade into one another.

The overnight stay is in tents at the base of Zagibal Mountain.

Day 6: Trek from Satsar Lake to Gangabal Lake

Participants climb Zajibal Pass, which stands tall at 4180 m. Here, they cross a small glacier. This is the highest pass on the trek and the view of Mount Haramukh (5755 m) and the beautiful twin lakes of Gangabal and Nundkol is breathtaking. The participants then descend to Gangabal Lake. This lake too, offers the chance for trout fishing.

The overnight stay here is in tents.

Day 7: Trek from Gangabal Lake to Naranag

Participants leave the base camp behind and trek through the meadows of Bodpathri, Trunkol and descend through a pine forest to reach Naranag. Participants can visit an ancient temple and spring once they reach Naranag. The supplier will arrange for a cab to drive the participants back to Srinagar, where they will stay in a beautiful houseboat.
