Rafting
This is a paragraph with little content.

This is another small paragraph.

  • Trip introduction

The Kali river forms the international border between India and Nepal in its upper reaches. The river provides us with exciting white water rafting opportunities and also leads to the mighty Chooka rapid. This trip combines excellent whitewater rafting with camping by the river. Spring trips begin lower at Jhulaghat, while fall trips begin from Jauljibee.

Where is the lugguage stored when travellers are rafting?

Water-proof bags are kept aboard the raft for keeping cameras on the trip and on longer self-contained, multi-day expeditions, bigger water-proof bags are carried to keep all baggage on the raft completely dry. Every raft also carries rescue bags and flip lines to counter any emergency.

    Destination

A self-contained river journey down the Kali river is one of the prime options in the Himalayas. The river flows past terraced farms of Kumaoni and Nepali villages, fresh water streams, sandy beaches, thick tropical jungles, plantations as we travel downstream through the terai belt negotiating exciting white water. With the Mahseer making it an angler's delight, the lack of road access makes it a complete wilderness journey. After the first few days of serene float past its confluence with the Saryu at Pancheshwar (also a famous fishing spot) with the occasional big rapid, the Kali makes its final descent to the plains in the last day on river, beginning with the mighty Chooka rapid. Flowing past the terai hills after densely forested hillsides, this trip is an outdoor wilderness experience in a league of its own.

    Destination highlights

    • Paddle through the Kali river as it makes it's way through tiny villages
    • Photograph the pristine Himalayan landscape
    • Enjoy the adrenaline rush while navigating through white water rapids
