You'll trek over a relatively easy trail that will lead you across a mountain ridge with valleys on both sides. At the Tikona Fort, you can visit the Mahadev Temple and Satvahan caves as you explore the old fortifications of this ancient fort. From the top of the fort, you can catch misty mountain views of the nearby Tung Fort, Lohagad Fort, Pawna Lake and Visapur Fort.

A perfect way to escape into the midst of nature, this trek to Tikona Fort is ideal for fit beginners as well as experienced trekkers.

Located at a 1-hr driving distance from Lonavala, the Tikona Fort stands overlooking the vast expanse of the Pawna Lake. The fort is named after the triangular mountain that is carved with a narrow, rock-cut staircase for the ease of travellers.
