Camping
This is a paragraph with little content.

This is another small paragraph.

  • Trip introduction

This 2N/3D camping adventure gives you an easy escape from the city, and gives you a chance to rediscover your childlike wonder. You'll camp in comfortable tents beside the Tons river, take kayaks out to battle the rapids, race mountain bikes over the hilly terrain, or go swimming in clear freshwater pools and waterfalls. It's your own little paradise, with mist floating in in the morning, boulders to sit on and admire the river, and forest trails to explore. Every evening, you'll gather around a campfire, enjoy a few snacks, and wish this trip would never end.

    Destination

Your riverside campsite is located in the midst of nature, with the Tons river flowing by right outside. At 4500 ft, the campsite also allows you stunning views of the valley and forests around. Around the campsite, there's plenty to do: from cycling trails to waterfalls to explore, and natural pools to swim in.

At night you'll go to sleep in cosy tents with cots, mattresses, thick blankets and a carpeted floor. For your comfort, there are separate toilet tents and shower tents. This campsite is only open for three months of the year, from April to June, so don't leave it till too late.

    Destination highlights

    • Camp in the midst of thick pine forests along the banks of the Tons
    • Try your hand at trekking, mountain biking, rafting, and more
    • Enjoy merry campfires every evening and hot tea by the river every morning

  • Day 1 - Tons river camping

Check in before lunch and settle into your comfortable tents. You can explore your campsite a bit, and dip your toes in the Tons river while you wait for lunch to be served. After you've eaten, the day is yours to do as you please. You can go rafting before sunset or take a cycle out on the mountain trails. In the evening, enjoy a campfire with vegetarian and non-vegetarian snacks in the cool night air, beside the river. Overnight in comfortable Swiss tents.

Day 2 - Tons river camping

You'll wake up to the sound of the river outside your tents. Drink a hot cup of tea or coffee with views of the trees, the white boulders by the river, while you decide how to spend your day. There is a delightful freshwater pool and waterfall just a short drive away from the campsite, and you can ask for a picnic lunch to be packed for you. Exploring this is a wonderful experience for the day. Overnight in tents.

Day 3 - Tons river camping

This morning you'll wake up feeling reluctant to leave this riverside paradise behind. Enjoy a hearty breakfast, and try to fit in one last walk to say goodbye to the campsite. After that, it's time to check out. Trip ends here.
