Trekking
This is a paragraph with little content.

This is another small paragraph.

  • Trip introduction

There's no better time to visit the Dudhsagar Waterfall than during the monsoon. It is one of India's highest waterfalls, and is 1015 feet high. There are no roads leading to this location, and the only way to get close is by train. After you disembark at the closest station, you'll trek along the railway track to the base of the fall. It is a relatively easy trek, taking you through heavily forested trails that are alive with the sights and sounds of nature. Here you can take a dip in the smaller pools or explore the surrounding area, before heading back.

    Destination

Dudhsagar lies close to the border between Goa and Karnataka, offering you a delightful trekking experience that takes you into the lap of nature. According to local legend, a princess used to bathe here every day, and then drink sweet milk from a golden jug. One day, she saw someone watching her as she drank her milk, and poured it out to preserve her modesty.

If you'd prefer a less romanticized version, the name 'Dudhsagar' means sea of milk, named because the water falls from such a height that it foams and turns milk-white. For the rest of the year, it is beautiful, but during the rainy season, it becomes a thundering force of nature. You can easily see the four tiers of the waterfall during this time.
