The trek starts from Kullu near Manali which over the years have become popular tourist destinations, and progresses on to the semi-arid landscape of the Lahaul region, known for its pristine beauty. Crossing the Hampta pass en route poses a good challenge with scree slopes and boulder-ridden trails. One of the highlights of the trek is camping at the Chandratal lake - one of the finest high altitude lakes in the country.
When you come back home, you’re going to have a hard time deciding which part of this trek you loved best!
