Meet at Congress Bhavan (Pune) 06:30 OR Bandra terminus (Mumbai) 11:30
One of the most popular kids' camps, this 10-day trip is aimed at introducing children to adventure and confidence building activities like rapelling, valley crossing, trekking and archery. Kids also spend their days playing games like basketball and volleyball against local teams. Another day is spent in community work like building or repairing a bridge, where the participants work in the local village with the community.
In addition to developing a love for the outdoors, this trip also helps foster an appreciation for local communities and team-work.
Mukteshwar is a small town, around 51 kms beyond Nainital, in the Tache Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand, and is an amazing place to camp in summers. The beautiful campsite is at an altitude of 7500 feet, aptly named Camp Purple, and is filled with beautiful purple-hued cosmos flowers. Participants also get some stunning views of the surrounding hills from the campsite.
