This summer camp in Kolad takes place in an adventure campsite in Kolad. The campsite is built on a picturesque 50-acre expanse of tableland, with a hill on one side and a lake on the other. The campsite is owned and managed by retired army officers, and is managed by hotel industry professionals and a team of dedicated trained staff.

You have to ensure that your child is at the meeting point at 07:00 hrs, in time for the pick-up to Kolad. The children will reach the campsite at around 11.30 hrs and will be divided into age-specific groups. They will be assigned their accommodation and can leave their bags there. After that, there is lunch and an orientation session in which all kids are introduced to one another and to their staff. After this, they will play some fun games to break the ice, followed by tea and snacks. At night, the children will be served dinner and will be sent to their tents for the night. The day begins with a universal prayer for all children to participate in. For the rest of the day, the little campers will enjoy a host of adventure, team-building and personality development activities like rock climbing, rappelling, flying fox, and more. The kids are also taught some environment-based activities like drip irrigation, waste management, organic farming, and rain water harvesting. They will be given all meals on camp, with breaks for water, snacks and rest. At night they will eat dinner together and then will be sent to their accommodation to sleep.

Just like yesterday, today the children will begin with a universal prayer. After this, they will participate in series of fun games and activities. They will have become good friends with each other by now, and will enjoy some competitive activities like shuttle relay, tug of war and other group games. They will have time to be taken around camp and to see organic farming taking place. At night, they will eat a hearty dinner and will retire to their beds, tired but happy.

Today, after starting the day with a universal prayer and a tasty breakfast, the kids will clamber aboard bullock carts to ride to a village nearby. Here they will see a local school, meet the children at the school, and see the unique architecture and simple homes. They will learn how to use a grinding stone to grind wheat flour and rice, and see how food is cooked on a chullah, using firewood as fuel. The village tour ends with a local wholesome lunch in a village courtyard, followed by some community service that all children participate in. By evening they return to their campsite for dinner and a recap of the day. After that, they head to bed.

The children begin their last day at this summer camp with a big breakfast. They will play some games at camp and spend a fun morning with each other. Cancellation policy

If cancellation is done 2 weeks prior to departure of the summer camp: 75% of the total trip cost will be refunded, minus any transaction charges.

If cancellation is done between 7-13 days before departure of the summer camp: 50% of the total trip cost will be refunded, minus any transaction charges.

If cancellation is done 0-6 days before departure of the summer camp: No refund.

No show: No refund.

Children will not be allowed to join mid-way through the camp.

Rules on trip

Participants have to adhere to the instructions given by the trip leader during the summer camp. The trip leader's decision is final.

Participants have to respect the local culture during this summer camp and should not litter or deface natural structures/monuments.

Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

It is preferable for children to not be disturbed with telephone calls from parents during the summer camp. You may talk to the camp staff to enquire about their wellbeing, or talk to the children only during the lunch break (13:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs) or dinner break (20:30 hrs to 21:30 hrs). You will be given a phone number to contact the campsite during the booking process.

Valuables like mobile phones, cameras and money are to be sent at your own risk. The organiser will not be held responsible in case of breakage or theft.

Parents must inform the organisers of the summer camp if the children have any underlying health conditions or require any monitoring of medicines/use of inhalers.

The utmost care is taken to ensure that participants have a great time at the summer camp and no compromise is made on safety and hygiene.

Equipment used for the summer camp for adventure confirms to international standards.

The order of activities in the itinerary of the summer camp is subject to change depending on weather or other conditions.
