    Bananthimari Betta Trek

    What better way to spend a weekend than out and about in nature? Embark on this Bananthimari Betta trek and explore one of the unexplored hills near Bangalore. Just a few hours outside the city, surrounded by pastoral greens you are sure to feel a sense of rejuvenation. 

    Chirping of birds, rustling of leaves, cool breeze in your ears and the hard ground below are a welcome escape from the screens of our day to day lives.     Destination

    Just about 70 km away from Bangalore, lies the unexplored hills of Bananthimari Betta. The base for the trek is a Devi Temple, and the vehicles will park about half a km from the temple. You will trek through a muddy trail before reaching the temple and then will follow along the uphill trail to the peak. Along the route you will come across a pond with a shrine of Nandi.

    If you are trekking during the monsoons you are sure to come across several season streams and waterfalls as well. But no matter which weekend you pick for the trek, you are guaranateed an amazing day amidst nature.

    Cancellation policy

    In case of cancellation up to 7 days prior to departure date – 90% refund.

    In case of cancellations between 3 days to 6 days days prior to departure – 50% refund.

    In case of cancellations less than 2 days prior to departure – 0% refund.

    Cancellations on the day of departure or a day prior due to work/family emergencies, health issues, etc. will not be entertained, and no refund or transfer to further dates shall be allowed for the same. 

    If you wish to cancel on the day of departure and move the trek to a future date,  you will incur an additional charge of INR 1500. This can only be availed within 3 months from the date of the actual trip departure.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are required to adhere to the instructions of the trek leader during the Bananthimari Betta Trek.

    Consumption of alcohol, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the trek.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure the safety of travelers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap or accident during this Bananthimari Betta Trek.
