    The Buran Ghati trek is a moderately difficult, 7 day trek that begins in Janglikh and ends in Kharcham. The trek takes you to an altitude of 15,000 feet to the pass. Although this trek is little known, it is a brilliant trek for those seeking adrenaline pumping adventure. One of the highlights of the trek is that on one particular stretch, you will climb down an ice wall using a rope. The trek offers you an overall experience of the snow covered mountain ranges, thick forests, lush grasslands and dreamlike snowfields.

    Buran Ghati Pass is located at an altitude of 15,000 feet above sea level, alongside the Rupin Pass. The pass offers some spectacular views of the Dhauladhar and Kinner Kailash ranges. Even while trekking, you will be in the constant company of tall mountain peaks covered in snow. The trek also goes through the dense forests, pastures and snowfields of Himachal Pradesh.

  • Day 1 of the Buran Ghati Pass trek: Shimla to Janglikh

    Today, you will drive from Shimla to Janglikh via Rohru. You will pass the small villages of Diwedi, Ambot, Dhanwari, etc. and the drive overall is quite scenic. Overnight in home stay/tents at Janglikh.

    Today's meal package includes only dinner which will be served to you upon reaching Janglikh.

  • Cancellation policy

    For cancellations made 30 days or more before departure of the Buran Ghati Pass trek: 100% refund.

    For cancellations made 15-29 days before departure of the Buran Ghati Pass trek: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 15 days before departure of the Buran Ghati trek: no refund.

    In case of no show: no refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting the cost of accommodation, travel and other expenses already incurred by the tour operator.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

    Rules on trip

    Consumption of alcohol and drugs is strictly prohibited during the trip. Consumption of cigarettes and other tobacco products is not recommended.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Travellers are required to follow instructions of the trek leader during the Burhan Ghati Pass trek.

    All travellers are required to sign an indemnity form before beginning the Buran Ghati Pass trek.

    The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap, accident or loss of life during the Buran Ghati Pass trek.

    The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary of the Buran Ghati trek depending upon the weather conditions and other factors. If extra costs are incurred due to changes in the itinerary, they will be borne by the traveller.
