    The second highest waterfall in India, Jog Falls in Karnataka is a divine sight during monsoons. The gushing white water cascades down from approximately 800 feet during the rains, sending a spray up in all directions. The trek to Jog falls is a fun, slippery adventure, taking you down 1,388 stairs to the base of the Jog Falls. From here, you'll crane your neck to look up at the frothing splendour of the waterfalls. You'll also attend the famous sound and light show here. This rain-drenched adventure is a spectacular adventure from July to September!


    The Jog Falls is the second highest waterfall in India located in Shimoga district of Karnataka. An amalgamation of four different falls, it is formed over the famous north Karnataka river called Sharavathi River. The water falls from a height of 830 feet making it the second-highest plunge waterfall after Nokhalikai Falls in Meghalaya. You will trek through a lush green trail to the waterfalls, where you'll find plenty of spots that are great for photography and you can get a panoramic view of the all the four waterfalls.

  • Day 1 of the Jog Falls Trek: Depart from Mumbai

    Meet the team at CST station by 22:00 hours. You'll board the overnight train to Bhatkal from here. Overnight in train.

    If cancellation is done 10 days or more before the start of the Jog Falls Trek: 75% will be refunded.

    If cancellation is done 5-10 days prior to the start of the Jog Falls Trek: 50% will be refunded.

    If the cancellation is done 0-5 days before the start of the Jog Falls Trek: No refund.

    If you wish to transfer your booking to someone else, or reschedule to another date, the cancellation policy will apply, and only the applicable refund amount will be transferred or rescheduled.

    Rules on trip

    Smoking cigarettes, chewing tobacco or consuming alcohol is strictly prohibited on the Jog Falls Trek.

    You must stick with your group at all times.

    No damage should be inflicted on monuments or natural environments.

    You must adhere to the instructions of the trek leader at all times during the Jog Falls Trek.

    Taking photos or selfies near the edges of cliffs is not allowed.

    Participants are requested to carry trash back to the city and dispose of it in dustbins.

    Adventure activity is arranged considering normal weather. In case of cancellation of the Jog Falls trek due to reasons beyond control such as natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc, refund shall be payable with respect to the given to refund policy.
