On this night trek to Anthargange, you will summit a hill over 5,600 feet above sea level and explore a cave in the ghostly hours of the night. Located in the Shathashrunga mountain range, Anthargange is accessible via is a moderately easy trek, with all the thrill of a cave exploration. Rugged adventure meets serene nature as you make your way through broken rocks and crawl through volcanic rock formations. The magic of the night unfolds and reveals a different side as you explore a cave with your flashlight. The next day, you'll wake up to scenes of a gorgeous sunrise as it bathes the surrounding valley in a golden hue.
Antaragange (or ‘Ganges from the deep’ in Kannada), is a hill, 65 kms away from Bangalore city. A popular pilgrimage site, the Kasi Vishweshwara temple is the main attraction of this place and is referred to as the Kashi of the South. A route from behind the temple leads to the forest and into the hills. These hills have several volcanic rocks of various sizes and naturally carved caves around it. A clear view of the entire town of Kolar can be seen from the top of Anthargange. The vantage point makes for an amazing, panoramic view of Kolar, bathed in the golden light during the morning sunrise.

You'll be picked-up from one of the multiple pick-up locations all around Bangalore, starting from 23:00 hrs. From here, you'll travel to the base of Anthargage in a private bus. You'll arrive at your destination after a 65-km/5-hr drive from Bangalore.
Overnight in bus.
You'll board the bus at about 21:00 hrs, and will reach Anthargange shortly after midnight. Try and catch some sleep on the bus. The trek begins by about 01:00 hrs, and you'll end by 03:00 hrs. Enjoy a campfire and then retire for the night in sleeping bags under the open skies.

For cancellations made 24 hours or more before departure date of the Anthargange trek: 90% refund.
For cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure date of the Anthargange trek: no refund.
In case of no show: no refund.
All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.
Travellers are required to follow instructions of the trek leader during the trek to Anthargange.
