    This easy trek to Tosh valley starts from Barshaini and takes you through the verdant forest to reach the Tosh village, located at an altitude of 7,874 feet. On this trek, you will be walking alongside the gushing Parvati river, followed by making your way through the dense forest and ascending steep rocks until you arrive at Tosh Valley. You will get enough time to explore this beautiful hamlet on your own, and at night you will be camping at a pretty location surrounded by the views of tall, snowy Himalayan mountains. 

    Destination

    Tosh is a charming village situated at the end of the Parvati Valley, at an elevation of 7,874 feet in Himachal Pradesh. The village is surrounded by towering Himalayan mountains and pine trees. You will start the trek from Barshaini, following the Parvati river, you will move towards the lush valley and green forest which leads you to the Tosh village. You will be staying in tents at Tosh village campsite.

  • Day 1 of Tosh Valley trek: Trek to Tosh Valley

    Check in to the campsite in Tosh at 10:00 hours. After relaxing for a while, you will leave for the start point of the trek, Barshaini, which is at an hours drive from your campsite. You will be ascending through dense forest, and rocks with water gushing over your feet. After reaching Tosh, unwind in the tranquil ambiance and explore the beautiful hamlet. You will be staying in tents at Tosh.

    Trek to Tosh Valley. You will reach the village by afternoon. Today's meal package includes dinner only. Enjoy the tasty local cuisine. Accommodation will be arranged in a tent on twin/triple sharing basis.

    For cancellations made more than 3 days before departure of the Tosh Valley trek: 30% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 3 days before departure of the Tosh Valley trek: no refund.

    In case of no show: no refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are required to follow instructions of the camp leader during the Tosh Valley trek.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Consumption of alcohol, drugs and tobacco products like cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the Tosh Valley trek.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    The tour operator reserves the right to alter or cancel the itinerary of the Tosh Valley trek to maximize the safety of travellers and staff. Any costs arising due to such a change in the itinerary are borne by the traveller.

    The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap or accident during the Tosh Valley trek.
