Ajoba Hill, placed at an elevation of over 4,500 feet, is one of the highest peaks in the Western Ghats. There are a few different ascent routes, but this trail leads you through the sacred forest. Some parts of this trek to Ajoba Hills are tricky during the monsoons, especially the precipice, but it is great fun! Make sure you arrive at Asangaon railway station by 07:00 hrs. From here you will be taken to Dehne village in a jeep. You'll eat breakfast in the village and meet the rest of your group before beginning the trek. At Valmiki Ashram, you'll stop to explore the famous landmarks. Lunch is served at the ashram, and you can relax for a while. After this, you'll begin your descent down another route. At Dehne, enjoy a cup of tea before being dropped off to Asangaon station again. Your trip ends here.
