Participants need to meet at the main gate of Fergusson College at 5.45 a.m. Please ensure that you are present at the pick-up point on time.
Participants will love this one-day trek to two forts in the monsoon. This is an easy trek that is not too demanding and is therefore perfect for those just familiarising themselves with trekking or for seasoned trekkers looking for a quick break from the city.
NOTE: This is a one-day trek that includes tea, breakfast and lunch.
Warandha Ghat is one of the best place to explore in the monsoons, as it it lush and green and provides beautiful views of the surrounding valleys. The Kavlya fort faces the Warandha Ghat, and stretches over a large expanse of land offering a number of photography opportunities. The Mohangad fort, also located close-by is a newly discovered fort with beautiful views from the top.

Participants meet at the main gate of Fergusson college and depart from Pune at 6 a.m. The journey takes 4 hrs and participants enjoy some breakfast on reaching Warandha Ghat.
Participants begin the trek towards Kavlya fort by 10.30 a.m. and reach the top of the fort by around 11.45 a.m. After some lunch, they explore the fort and photograph the surrounding landscape.
Participants then make their way back to Warandha Ghat, reaching by 1.30 p.m., and then start their journey towards Mohangad fort. After reaching the top of Mohangad and taking in some specatcular views, they break for a few evening snacks.
Participants then begin the return journey to Pune by 4.30 p.m. and reach the city by 9 p.m.

90% refund if cancellation is made more than 10 days prior to the date of departure date of the event
60% refund if cancellation is made more than 6 days (148 hours) and less than 10 days prior to the departure date of the event
40% refund if cancellation is made more than 3 days (72 hours)and less than 6 days prior to the departure date of the event
No refund will be made if a cancellation is made within 3 days prior to the departure date of the event.
Consumption of liquor, drugs, tobacco products, cigarettes etc. is strictly prohibited during the camp. The camp will be considered over only when we are back to our home town.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for participants who litter, deface property or monuments, or cause general disturbance. Any flouting of these rules will be dealt with seriously, and may involve expulsion from the trek or camp, and no refund is admissible in such cases.
