Catch the 00:14 Kasara local from CST Station to reach Kasara by 03:00 hours. Participants can board the same train from Thane at 01:40 hours.

This trek to the cliff at the top of Harishchandragad is a tough one, and is not recommended for first-timers. You'll climb via the Pachnai route (which is easier than the Nali chi Vaat route) but it will still be a challenge! At the top of this old fort, your campsite is set up on Konkankada cliff, so you're camping at 4,671 feet above sea level. From here, you'll watch the sun setting over the surrounding valleys and peaks, and enjoy a crackling bonfire with music and ghost stories. The next morning, you'll catch a glorious sunrise, explore the fort, and then head down again.
Harishchandragad is an ancient fort that lies at the top of one of the most challenging treks in Maharashtra. The route to the top is studded with boulders, rocky patches, and some narrow trails with scary drops. At the top, you'll be able to explore the ruins of the fort and the ancient caves, as well as the Kedareshwar temple.

Take the last Kasara local from CST Station departing at 00:14 hrs, so that you can get to Kasara by 03:00 hrs. You'll be met by the operator and taken to the village, which is about 2 hours away. You'll rest here, and then eat breakfast and begin the trek. By noon, you'll be at the top and will have time to explore the caves, before setting up camp. You'll enjoy a bonfire, music, ghost stories, and then eat dinner before heading to your tents for the night.

You will be picked up from Kasara station and driven to Pachnai village, where you can take a short nap until morning dawns. After breakfast in the village, you'll set off on the trek. You'll be at the top by noon, and will eat lunch here. At night, you'll have a bonfire and dinner, and will go to sleep in tents. You'll spend the night camping under the stars on top of the Konkankada cliff.
