Lonar Crater Lake is a unique spot for many reasons. The crater was formed when a meteor struck the earth, creating a deep lake that has both salty and fresh water. There are all kinds of birds here, as well as insects and plants. On this four day trip, you'll travel to the lake, visit the ancient temples around, and spend time in the middle of nature.
Located near Jalna, in the Buldhana district of Maharashtra, the Lonar Crater Lake is a prehistoric lake with rich biodiversity. It is about 3900 feet in diameter, nestled in the bottom of the crater. There are hills all around, and on a clear day, the water is green and beautiful.

Do ensure you arrive at CST on time to catch the 21:05 hrs 17057/ Devgiri Express to Jalna. You'll spend the night on the train.
