Day 1 of the Katraj to Sinhagad trek: Begin trekking from Katraj
Report to the Swargate bus depot by 17:00 hrs and meet the rest of your group. You'll travel to the start point of your trek, the Katraj tunnel, in public transport with the trek leader. A short drive later, you'll arrive at the tunnel and begin the trek. As the night gets darker, you'll keep climbing with torches in your hand, taking brief halts at vantage points to gaze at the landscape full of bright city lights on the horizon and a few faint stars in the sky. At one of such halts, you'll have dinner and rest for a bit before resuming the trek.

Report to Pune and travel to the Katraj tunnel via public transport. Please note that no meals are included in today's package. Make sure to carry your own packed dinner that you can have en route to Sinhagad.

You'll keep trekking through the night, taking in gorgeous nocturnal views of the Sahyadri mountains. As the sun begins rising and clearing away the darkness, you'll reach the Sinhagad Fort, where you'll have some breakfast and tea. Rest and explore the fort before returning to Pune by 10:00 hrs. Your trip ends here.
