    Travel to the hill station of Manali and celebrate New Year 2020 in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh. On the night of 31st, you'll gather in the cool winter climate of Manali, under a star-studded night sky. Around a flickering bonfire with soulful music, you'll welcome the New Year 2020 with your fellow campers.

    Before the night of 31st, you'll also hike narrow, mountain trails from Manali and trek to the cascading waterfalls of Jogini and the hot water springs of Vasistha. The enchanting mountains of Himachal, turned even more magical with the winter snow, offer great trails and routes to explore for a day of outdoor fun. You'll also enjoy a gala dinner at a 3-star hotel in Manali before beginning the New Year celebration.

Your campsite at Manali is placed in the midst of sprawling apple orchards on the banks of the Beas River. Away from suburban crowds of the city, this is one of the perfect destinations to welcome the New Year 2020.

  • Day 1 of the New Year 2020 trek in Manali: Explore Manali

    Arrive at the Manali campsite and meet your trek leader. After a small orientation, you can head out to explore the colourful markets of Manali. After exploring Manali, you'll head back to the campsite and gather around a bonfire in the evening and retire into your tents after dinner. Overnight in tents at Manali.

    Arrive at the Manali campsite by 08:00 hrs and embark on a day trek to Lamadugh. You will be accommodated in dome tents at Manali on a shared basis. Sleeping bags and mattresses will be provided for a restful night's sleep. Today's meal package includes a packed lunch en route to Lamadugh and dinner at Manali.

    For cancellations made 3 days or more before departure date of the New Year 2020 Manali camping trip: 30% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 3 days before departure date of the New Year 2020 Manali camping trip: no refund.

    In case of no show: no refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are required to follow the instructions of the trek leader during the New Year 2020 trek in Manali.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Consumption of alcohol, drugs and tobacco products like cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the trek.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    The Manali campsite does not sell alcoholic drinks. However, at your own expense, you may bring alcoholic drinks with you for 31st night. Travellers are advised to drink responsibly.

    The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary of the New Year 2020 trek in Manali to maximize the safety of travellers as well as staff. Costs arising due to such changes in the itinerary will be borne by the traveller.

    The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure the safety of travellers and shall not be held responsible for any accident, mishap or loss of property and life during the New Year 2020 trek in Manali.
