    An adventure getaway tucked away in the southern Himalayas, this moderate trek has a charm like no other. You will gain altitude in a short period of time, which works perfectly for those with time constraints. Trek through lush green meadows surrounded by snow-capped peaks. You will also navigate through dense pine and walnut forests as you ascend to Rani Sui Lake. It is a strenuous ascent to the last ridge below Khanpari Tibba peak to Rani Sui. The trek is scenic with magnificent views of Kullu Valley and Beas River. At Rani Sui Lake, you get a spectacular view of the Dhauladhars, the southern border of the Himalayan ranges. If you're up for it, take a dip in the cool waters of Rani Sui Lake.

    Destination

    The Rani Sui Lake is perched atop the Khanpari Tibba peak, in the majestic Dhauladhar range. The trail takes you through dense forests of walnut, maple and pine, up to high altitude meadows and green pastures. You will also camp on a high alpine plateau in Lama Dugh. The trek to Rani Sui Lake lets you gain altitude quickly and you get breathtaking views of the Manalsu Glacier, Hanuman Tibba, Rohtang Pass, Deo Tibba, Beas River and the vast Kullu Valley. The peaks play hide and seek as you trek through dense forests towards the last ridge of Khanpari Tibba. The blue lake is postcard-perfect with the Dhauladhar ranges completing the frame. You will see the stunning silhouettes of the Himalayas, stretching out into the horizon.

  • Day 1 of Rani Sui Trek: Lama Dugh

    Report at base camp in Haripur by 07:00 hours. You begin your trek from Hadimba Temple and ascend further into dense forests. You will slowly begin to gain altitude and you are greeted by gorgeous views of the snow-clad peaks such as the Indrasan, Deo Tibba, and the Bara Shigri glacier. A steep climb towards the end, you will climb a ridge horizontally to get to the campsite. Your campsite is set up on an alpine plateau, sprinkled with wildflowers. Overnight in tents.

    You will be accommodated in twin/ triple sharing tents. Your campsite is equipped with a kitchen and toilet tent.

    If a cancellation is made 0-15 days before departure of the Rani Sui Trek: No refund.

    If a cancellation is made 15-29 days before departure of the Rani Sui Trek: 50% of the trip cost will be refunded.

    If a cancellation is made 30 days or more before departure of the Rani Sui Trek: 90% of the trip cost will be refunded.

    For last minute cancellations, the operator may offer you trip credits on a case by case basis.

    Rules on trip

    Participants must adhere to the instructions of the trip leader/guide at all times during the Rani Sui Trek.

    Participants must adhere to a strict no-litter policy while on the Rani Sui Trek.

    Consumption of alcoholic beverages/drugs is not permitted while on the Rani Sui Trek.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    The Rani Sui trek may be cancelled due to unforeseen or unusual circumstances that are not in the control of the operator. In such a case, refund will be made according to the cancellation policy.

    Any event cost for the Rani Sui Trek is exclusive of any kind of insurances or medical coverage/benefits.

    If the journey is broken off early by the client, the operator shall not be liable for a refund of the days not utilized.

    In case of delays, clients must pay for accommodation and additional costs not mentioned in the itinerary.

    The operator shall not be liable to refund any bank charges deducted while making the bank transaction.
