En route to Poon Hill, you'll pass several small villages like Ulleri and Ghadruk, home to the ethnic communities of Pun and Gurung natives. Apart from showcasing the unique lifestyle and culture of the locals, these villages are located to give you fantastic views of famous Himalayan peaks such as the Annapurna South and Dhaulagiri.

    Destination

The village of Ghorepani is an important rest stop linking several other villages in the Annapurna Conservation Area. Trekking expeditions to Annapurna often camp at the village for the night. The village is also located at the base of Poon Hill, a 10,500-foot peak that is also known as the 'Photographer's Paradise', with panoramic views of the snow-capped Annapurna range from the summit.
