• Gokyo Valley Trek

Visit the shimmering lakes, towering mountains and icy glaciers of the Himalayas on this trek to Gokyo Valley. You'll trek to the three, high-altitude lakes of Longpongo, Taboche Cho and Gokyo, each offering spectacular views of the turquoise waters. En route, you'll stay at traditional tea-houses and lodges at Sherpa villages like Dole, Khumjung and Monju. Along the way, you'll get breathtaking views of Himalayan giants like Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu and several other peaks, as well as the Ngozumpa glacier, the longest in the Himalayas.

Another highlight of the trek to Gokyo Valley, you'll hike up Mt. Gokyo Ri to get panoramic views of the snow-stormed terrain of the Himalayas, with several of the world's tallest mountains reaching into the sky.

NOTE: Prices displayed are per person prices for a booking of two travellers.

The Gokyo Valley, located inside the Sagarmatha National Park, is placed opposite to the world's tallest peak, Mt. Everest. In fact, your route will follow the same itinerary as the route to Mt. Everest, until the town of Namche Bazaar, where you'll take a fork in the trail towards Gokyo. The valley is also known to be the home of six high-altitude lakes, fed by the melting glaciers of the Himalayas. The Gokyo village, at the base of Mt. Gokyo Ri, is one of the highest settlements in the world, with just a few stone-built tea-houses, lodges and homes.
