    Get closer to the Himalayan giants of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri on this trek to the Annapurna Base Camp. Organized over 14 days, this trek also takes you to the base camp for Mt. Machhapuchhare, the summit of 10,500 feet tall Poon Hill and the natural hot water springs of Jhinu Danda. During the day, you'll spend hours trekking through mountains and exploring multi-coloured forests of bamboo, birch and rhododendron. All throughout, snow-capped mountain peaks of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Hinuchuli, Machhapuchhare will offer awe-inspiring views.

    The Annapurna mountain range, home to some of the tallest mountain peaks in the world, are located inside the Annapurna Conservation Area. The base camp of Annapurna consist of a few tea-houses built for the convenience of expeditions attempting a summit bid. The base camp, located at an altitude of over 13,500 feet, is surrounded by barren mountain slopes covered with boulders and layered with thick patches of snow. The tall mountain peaks of Annapurna Dakshin and Hinuchuli overlook the base camp, offering goose bump-inducing views of the Himalayan terrain.

  • Day 1 of Annapurna Base Camp Trek: Arrive at Kathmandu

    Land at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Here, a representative of the tour operator will meet you at the airport and escort you to a pre-booked hotel in the city. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure. Visit the local marketplace to shop for any last minute essentials or take a stroll around town to explore the city. In the evening, you'll have a short briefing session with your trek leader. Overnight in a hotel at Kathmandu.

    Arrive in Kathmandu and spend the day at leisure. You'll be accommodated in hotel rooms at Kathmandu on twin-sharing basis. You'll be escorted from the airport to the hotel in a private vehicle. The hotel will generally be located in the Thamel area of the city, located 20-30 min drive away from the airport. Since no meals are included in today's meal package, you can visit any of the restaurants in Kathmandu to have meals at your own expense.

    All cancellations made on or more than 20 days before departure of the Annapurna Base Camp trek: 80% refund.

    All cancellations made less than 20 days before departure of the Annapurna Base Camp trek: no refund.

    In case of no show: no refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction charge for international payments and transfers. Please check with us to find out what this charge will be for the Annapurna Base Camp trek. All refunds will be subject to a foreign currency premium/discount.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Travellers are required to follow instructions of the trek leader during the trek to Annapurna Base Camp.

    Consumption of alcohol and drugs is prohibited during the trek. Consumption of tobacco products and cigarettes is not recommended.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    The trek to Annapurna Base Camp is rated moderate to difficult in intensity. Accordingly, the trek is recommended only to travellers with prior experience of at least one high-altitude trek in the Himalayas.

    A high level of health and fitness is required to book this trek to Annapurna Base Camp. If you have any cardiac or respiratory conditions, or suffer from knee or spinal problems, please inform the tour operator and consult your doctor before booking this trip.

    This trek will take travellers to destinations from 4,000-13,000 feet, where travellers who have not properly acclimatized may experience acute mountain sickness.

    The tour operator reserves the right to alter or cancel the itinerary of the trek to Annapurna Base Camp due to bad weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances to ensure maximum safety of travellers and staff. Travellers are required to bear any additional costs arising due to such a change in itinerary.

    The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap, accident or loss of life during the trek to Annapurna Base Camp.
