Trek to the historic Raigad perched on the green hills of Sahyadris. This trek involves climbing up more than 1700 steps to reach this ancient fortress. On rainy days, you need to take extra caution while climbing up the slippery stairs. Along the way, you will see several tall waterfalls and come across vantage point providing incredibly gorgeous views of surrounding hills. At the top, you will visit Jagadishwar temple, Takmaktok, Jijamata Samadhi, Jijamata Wada, and a few other popular spots. The trek to Raigad is an easy climb and suitable for first-time trekkers.
The Raigad fort is situated at the height of about 2700 feet in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra. The fort is of a revered among the Marathas due to its history. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was crowned as the King of Maratha kingdom after he captured the Raigad fort in 1656. While exploring this historic fort, you will see moss-covered ruins of the palace everywhere, and even the hefty cannons. You will visit Jagadishwar Temple, Takmaktok, Jijamata Samadhi, Jijamata Wada, among several other popular spots while exploring the Raigad fort.

Board the bus starting from Dadar by 22:00 hours. The bus will make several stops in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai to pick up the travellers. Please carry some dry snacks with you for the overnight bus journey. You will reach the base village tomorrow morning.

For cancellations made 30 days before the departure of Raigad trek: 70% of the trip cost will be refunded.
For cancellations made 15-30 days before the departure of Raigad trek: 40% of the trip cost will be refunded.
For cancellations made 7-15 days before the departure of Raigad trek: 20% of the trip cost will be refunded.
For cancellations made less than 7 days of the departure of Raigad trek: No refund.
In case of no show: No refund.
All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.
Travellers are required to adhere to the instructions of the trek leader during the trek to Raigad.
Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing disturbance.
Consumption of liquor, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the trek to Raigad.
