This is a thrilling adventure as trekkers travel from 5,800 feet to a summit reaching a dizzying height of 16,000 feet, a place where few have gone before.

The Kanchenjunga is considered sacred by the people of the North East. Covered in mist most of the time, the peak plays hide and seek with anyone wishing to see it. The Kanchenjunga, until the discovery of the Mt. Everest, was considered to be the highest mountain in the world. It is now at Number 3 after Mt. Everest and K2.
Sikkim is the cleanest and prettiest of the seven states in the North East and boasts of a climate that ranges from subtropical to high alpine. The Lepcha people call Sikkim paradise in their local language and it’s not hard to see why. Sikkim is home to vast lakes, hot springs, mountain peaks and many glaciers, making it a perfect destination for trekkers of all kinds.
