Rules on trip
No smoking or illicit drugs.
We must be informed, in writing, of any prescription drugs you are taking.
No alcohol in the backcountry. On the day your trip ends, a small exception can be made for reasonable amounts of alcohol as a celebration.
Any activity that is illegal will not be tolerated.
Any sexual harassment of fellow students or instructors will not be tolerated.
No littering of any sort.
We do not encourage participants to carry electronic devices like cell phones and music players. This is a great opportunity to leave the trappings of an urban life behind. We understand that many participants will need to carry cell phones, but we ask that you leave them for important purposes only, and turn them off when not needed.
Playing music in tents is not allowed.
We encourage campers to participate in all activities like discussions, camp chores, cooking, leadership, safety and conflict resolution.
Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions
We will go to any length to accommodate travellers with special needs, and have done so in the past. In such a case, though, we ask that the client give advance warning so we can plan and prepare as best we can.
We can offer vegetarian, non-vegetarian and Jain food, as participants make their own meals. We can also offer gluten-free or dairy-free ingredients, but will need advance notice to arrange the same.
We have 2-pax and 3-pax tents, and accommodation is shared. In some cases, it might even be co-ed. Please do let us know in advance if you are not comfortable with this.
