Pangarchula Trek

Situated in the Nanda Devi Sanctuary, the Pangarchula Trek is a thrilling climb that will take you to over 14,000 feet. This is one trek that experienced trekkers are sure to enjoy as it tests not only their fitness but also their ability to trek consistently over long distances.

The trek begins from Dhak Village with a gradual ascent that slowly turns challenging and tests the physical abilities of the trekker. The trail makes its way through cliff side villages, oak and rhododendron filled forests and open grasslands before culminating with a steep 6-km climb as you trek towards the peak. Pangarchula is therefore also known as a summit trek.

This is a non-technical mountain climb, meaning you will not require any specialized climbing equipment but at the same time you will require a moderate level of fitness.

Please note that the operator can arrange for transportation from Dehradun at an additional cost of INR 2200 per person.

If you are travelling in a group of 4 or more, you can book any start date for the trip. Please get in touch with The Great Next for assistance.
