The trek to Pushtara meadows through the Phulara ride is one of the best ridge treks in India. This 6-day trek begins from the village of Sankri. You will trek through the dense pine-scented forests, blooming meadows and camp at gorgeous locations such as Juda ka Talab and Pushtara meadows. You will also see the rare, colourful Himalayan monals, the state bird of Uttrakhand.
The highlight of this trek is the long walk along the Phulara ridge, at an altitude of 12,127 feet surrounded by the stunning views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks, finally leading to flourishing Pushtara meadows.
Pushtara is a vast, green meadow perched at an altitude of 9500 feet, on the edge of the mountaintop with the views of Himalayan peaks all around. On this trek, will visit Juda ka Talab, an elegant lake surrounded by thick oak and tall pine trees. The best part of the Pushtara trek is a long hike along the Phulara ridge at an altitude of 12,127 feet. Throughout this trek, you will be camping in beautiful campsites and stay in tents on twin/triple sharing basis.

In the morning, board SUV/Tempo Traveller from Dehradun and embark on a 7-hour drive to the Mori river campsite. You can buy breakfast and lunch on the way to the destination. The drive will take you through scenic villages and hairpin curved roads of Uttarakhand. You will reach Mori river campsite in the evening. Dinner will be served at the campsite. Overnight in your tent at the campsite.

Transfers from Dehradun to Mori River campsite will be arranged in an SUV/Tempo Traveller. You can have breakfast and lunch at your own expense on the way to the campsite. Dinner will be provided at Mori river campsite. You will be staying in tents on twin/triple sharing basis. Pillows, blankets and mattresses will be available in the tents. You can carry extra blankets if you wish.
