Snowline Triund Trek

The trek to Snowline takes you beyond Triund, into the trail carpeted with snow throughout the year. Triund is one of the most beautiful short treks in Himachal Pradesh. A short trek through the forested trail from Triund brings you to Laka Glacier, also known as Snowline.

This trek gives you the experience of walking over the ridge surrounded by snowy Dhauladhar mountains on one side and Kangra Valley on the other. You will also stay in tents at the famous Triund campsite set against the backdrop of the snowy Himalayas.

Destination

Triund is a small mountain-ridge perched in the foothills of the Dhauladar mountain range. At the elevation of almost 10,000 feet, Triund overlooks the picturesque Kangra Valley and the snow-capped Dhauladhar mountains. Trekking to the Snowline presents you with the opportunity to get the close up of Dhauladhars. With patches of snow from the Laka glacier, Snowline is filled with snow most of the time in the year.
