• Trip introduction

Located in the heart of Kangra valley, the Triund trek is an easy but gorgeous adventure, so is one of the most sought after treks in this region. The trail passes through dense rhododendron and oak forests, and ends at the Triund summit, rewarding you with absolutely breathtaking 180-degree panoramic views of the nearby ranges, and the gorgeous Kangra valley. For a two-day adventure, this trek offers much more than it promises, and is perfect for a weekend getaway with friends.

Baggage storage facilities are available at the base camp at no extra cost. Please note that a minimum of 4 travellers are required to book this trip.

McLeod Ganj, the basecamp from where the trek begins, is unlike any other place in India. This small town is home to a local population as well as Tibetan refugees, which lends it a unique charm of its own, as well as some great food options! And of course, with McLeod Ganj being the home of the Dalai Lama, the monasteries here are also worth exploring. You'll trek through peaceful Himalayan forests, wake up to a misty morning, and get some great photo opportunities all along.
