    The trek to Triund is one the most popular short treks in Himachal Pradesh that offers spectacular views of Kangra Valley from the altitude of 9,278 ft. The trek starts from the vibrant town of Mcleodganj and takes you along the gorgeous trail of oak and rhododendron forests. The trail eventually opens up to the huge camping ground at the Triund hilltop from where you can enjoy the views of the snowy Himalayas.

    On the first day of this trip, you will visit the roaring Bhagsu Waterfall, Gallu Devi Temple and explore the serene Dalai Lama monastery.

    Triund is a perfect Himalayan trek for beginners and is located just a few kilometres from Dharamshala, at the elevation of 9,278 ft. Triund is a meadow perched atop a mountain with exceptional views of the Dhauladhar ranges and Kangra valley. The trek begins from the lush trail of oak and rhododendron forests and leads to the verdant Triund campsite.

    At the Triund campsite, you will stay in tents on twin/triple sharing basis. Sleeping bags and mats will be provided for your comfort.
