The Valley of Flowers trek is as close as humans can get to paradise in this lifetime. With dozens of new flowers blooming every day, the colours in the valley are always changing. You'll enjoy sweeping, panoramic views of the Garhwal Himalayan mountain range, and plenty of natural beauty all around. This trek also includes a hike to the sacred Hemkund Sahib gurudwara.
This is a moderate trek and is great for both first timers as well as experienced trekkers, looking to visit the Valley of Flowers.
Located within the Nanda Devi National Park, the Valley of Flowers is a designated World Heritage Site that was discovered by accident as recently as 1931 by a team of British mountaineers. While it was hidden away for many years, the valley is now open between June to September. At an easily accessible altitude of 11,980 feet, the Valley of Flowers trek it is a favourite as it can be done by beginners too. During peak blooming season, over 300 species of wild flowers bloom here, including the elusive and rare Blue Poppy and Brahmakamal. Besides this, the valley is also home to animals such as the snow leopard and the Asiatic black bear, amongst others.

Participants depart from Haridwar in a SUV and drive up to Joshimath. The drive covers a distance of 275 kms, and takes about 9 to 10 hours. Though long, the drive is a scenic one as you pass through the holy towns of Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag, and more. You'll arrive in Joshimath by evening and will check into a hotel here. Today you'll be picked up in Haridwar and driven to Joshimath. It's a long drive and you'll check in to a hotel in Joshimath by evening. You'll have comfortable double sharing rooms with attached washrooms and all bedding. Today's package does not include any meals, but you'll be able to choose and pay for your own meals en route and in Joshimath. For cancellations made 21-30 days prior to departure of the Valley of Flowers trek: 60% of trek cost will be refunded, minus any transaction charges.
For cancellations made 20-11 days prior to departure of the Valley of Flowers trek: 30% of trek cost will be refunded, minus any transaction charges.
For cancellations made 0-10 days prior to departure of the Valley of Flowers trek: No refund.
No show and changes/cancellation on the Valley of Flowers trek due to bad weather or natural calamity will be non-refundable.
Trekkers are expected to maintain cleanliness at the campsites and throughout the Valley of Flowers trek. Please do not litter around and if possible, collect garbage on the way and dispose it off at proper sites.
Please do not disturb fellow trekkers during the trek to Valley of Flowers.
The trek leader's decision is final during the Valley of Flowers trek.
There is a strict rule against alcohol and drugs during the Valley of Flowers trek. Trekkers will be expected to follow it.
