For trekkers and adventure seekers, this valley offers brilliant vistas and panoramic views. You'll walk along path blanketed with bright flowers, with the air heavy with fragrance. This 6-day medium-intensity trek is dotted with numerous waterfalls, and is surrounded by lush green landscape all over.

This trek also includes a visit to Badrinath Temple on Day 5. This is subject to road and weather conditions and transport availability. The final call will be taken by the trek leader on the day of the visit.

    Destination

The Valley of Flowers was discovered by mountaineers Frank Smythe, R. L. Holdsworth and Eric Shipton on their way back from a trekking expedition in 1931. Ever since then, it has been a worldwide attraction. in August, the valley springs to life with balsam, anemones, blue poppy, brahma kamals, primulas, asters and many more species. For many months of cold weather, the ground is frozen and hard, and does not hold much water. However, immediately after the first rains and melting of ice, tiny flowers push up from under the soil, encouraged by the proximity of the Pushpavati river.
