You'll have to be waiting at Haridwar Railway Station at 06:30 hrs. You'll be picked up and wil begin the long drive to Joshimath. En route, you'll see Devprayag, the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers. It's a drive of about 290 kms and will take you almost all day. By evening, you'll get to Joshimath and check into a cosy hotel. You can explore Joshimath a bit before dinner. Overnight in hotel.

You'll be picked up in Haridwar early in the morning and will be driven to Joshimath. You'll be stay in a top-rated hotel in deluxe rooms on twin-sharing basis, with attached washrooms and huge windows. Today’s package includes only dinner.

Day 1 Milestone

Wake up to a hot cup of tea and a delicious breakfast, and then climb aboard for the short one-hour drive to Govindghat. This is the start point of your Valley of Flowers trek. From here, you'll be walking through apricot trees and into the greenery. It's about 14 kms to get to Ghangaria, but it's not too hard and will warm you up for the rest of your trekking days. You'll check into Swiss tents in Ghangaria. Overnight in Swiss tents.

Today you'll be driven to Govindghat after breakfast, and will start your first day of trekking. By evening, you'll get to Ghangaria, where you'll check into cozy Swiss tents. Today’s package includes breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. Eggs will be served too, when available.

Day 2 Milestone

Today you set off into the Valley of Flowers. It's a short trek today (only 4 hours one way) and will give you plenty of time to explore the valley and admire the views. You'l cross a small sparkling stream and cross over into a wonderland of gorgeous flowers. Around you, waterfalls gush out over the tops of mountains, and you can see the mist rolling in. You'll spend the day here, and return to your tents in Ghangaria later. Overnight in tents.

You'll set off after breakfast for the Valley of Flowers today. After spending the day amongst the flowers, you'll return to your tents in Ghangaria. Today's package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals are vegetarian, but eggs will be served if available.

Day 3 Milestone

Today's trail is a little harder, and you'll climb upwards to the famous Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara. There are seven mountains surrounding the lake, and usually a layer of broken ice still floating on the water. You'll spend some time here and then return to Ghangaria, stopping en route to take in the views. Overnight in tents.

You'll set off to Hemkund Sahib today, and will spend the day here. You'll return for your last night in the Swiss tent. Today's package includes breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. Meals are vegetarian, but eggs will be served if available.

Day 4 Milestone

Ghangaria

Today you begin the trek back to Govindghat. You won't feel like saying goodbye to the Valley of Flowers, with its natural beauty and flower-scented air. Vehicles are waiting for you at Govindghat, and will drive you to Auli. You'll arrive in Auli by afternoon and will check in to your mountain lodge. Overnight in hotel.

After breakfast, you'll trek back to Govindghat, where vehicles are waiting to drive you to Auli. You'll check in to a mountain lodge in twin-sharing rooms. Each room has king-sized beds, attached washroom with geyser, a heater, and a private sit-out. Today’s package includes breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. Eggs will be served too, when available.

Day 5 Milestone

Ghangaria

Auli

After breakfast, you'll check out and board vehicles that take you back to Haridwar. Your Valley of Flowers trek has been a spectacular experience, but you'll be happy to rest your legs after days of trekking. You'll get to Haridwar by about 18:00 hrs, and will be dropped off at the station. Trip ends here.

You'll eat a hearty breakfast today before setting off on the long drive to Haridwar. Today's package includes only breakfast, but you'll be able to choose and pay for whatever you want for lunch at restaurants en route. Trip ends at Haridwar Railway Station by about 18:00 hrs.

Cancellation policy

For cancellations made 0-10 days before the departure of the Valley of Flowers trek: No refund.

For cancellations made 11-15 days before the departure of the Valley of Flowers trek: 50% of the amount will be refunded, minus any transaction charges.

For cancellations made 15 days or more before the departure of the Valley of Flowers trek: 85% of the amount will be refunded, minus any transaction charges.

If the Valley of Flowers trek itinerary has to be aborted/rescheduled for extreme weather/safety of the trekkers and crew, there will be no refunds.

Rules on trip

This trek is for women only, and will have at least one female guide to accompany you. However, do note that there will be male porters and crew members in the operator's team.

Participants must adhere to the instructions of the trip leader/guide at all times during the Valley of Flowers trek.

Consumption of alcoholic beverages/drugs during the Valley of Flowers trek is not permitted.

Trekkers must not litter or disturb other trekkers, and must respect the sentiments of religious travellers and places.

Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

The operator reserves the right to change the itinerary in case of bad weather, political unrest, or other issues that may affect the safety of trekkers.

This Valley of Flowers trek does not include the cost of any changes or delays in the itinerary, and refunds will not be given for the same.

All trekkers will have to sign an indemnity form before starting the Valley of Flowers trek.

Any trek costs are exclusive of any kind of insurances or medical coverage/benefits.
