    Escape the concrete jungle and head to riverside destination of Kolad, where the real trees and birds surround you, and plenty of fun awaits. You'll spend two hours battling the swirling rapids of the Kundalika river, tackling Grade III to IV rapids, and ending with a dip in the calmer stretches of the river.

    While rafting is the highlight of this trip, there's a lot to do on the campsite too. At an additional cost, you can also try your hand at adventure activities like wall climbing, rappelling, river crosing, zip-lining and more. In the evening, you'll spend time with friends and loved ones, relaxing in these beautiful environs, before digging into a delicious buffet dinner. At night, you'll retire to comfortable air-conditioned cottages.


    Strategically placed at a 2-hour drive from both Mumbai as well as Pune, Kolad is an ideal place to camp out if you are looking for a quick getaway from the bustling cities. The picturesque campsite is spread across 50 acres of land with quick access to a high hill and a beautiful lake. You'll stay in delightful cottages that are clean and simple, and have attached washrooms, enjoy lavish buffet meals, and have a wonderful escape from routine life.

    Rules on the trip

    Travellers are required to adhere to instructions of the rafting instructor while rafting in Kolad.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Cancellation policy

    For cancellations made more than 14 days prior to departure of the Kolad rafting trip: 75% refund.

    For cancellations made 7-14 days before departure of the Kolad rafting trip: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made 0-6 days before departure of the Kolad rafting trip: No refund.

    No show: No refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting any transaction charges.

    Rafting in Kolad is dependent on the water released from the dams of Bhira and Mulshi. The tour operator cannot be held responsible for insufficient or unsafe water conditions.

    The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary of this Kolad rafting trip to maximize the safety of travellers as well as staff.

    Travellers will be required to bear any additional costs arising due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, road blocks etc.

  • Day 1 of Kolad rafting trip: Arrive at the campsite

    You can check in any time after 17:00 hrs. Check-in to your cottages and go out for a short walk to explore the beautiful surroundings of the campsite. High tea will be served, and you can go check out the river after that. At an additional cost, you can also participate in adventure activities like rappelling, zip-lining, river crossing and more. Relax with friends all evening, until its time for an elaborate dinner. Overnight in air-conditioned cottages with private washrooms.

    Day 2 of Kolad rafting trip: Rafting day!

    After a delicious breakfast, you'll head towards the start point of the rafting stretch for a short briefing session. And now the fun begins! Your raft leaps to meet every rapid, splashing water around and drenching you in the process. Don't forget to take a dip in the river at the end! After a great 2-hour session, you'll return to camp to change and freshen up. You'll have a great appetite and the big lunch will be served at just the right time. Check out is at 15:00 hrs.
