  • Trip introduction

    Book an action-packed weekend this monsoon. You'll be be battling the Kundalika rapids for two hours on Sunday morning, but before that, you're also doing a whole lot more. Enjoy rappelling, Burma Bridge, ziplining, try raft building in the lake, or play a game of volleyball or cricket - all this in the green environs of your campsite. Spend the evening around a campfire before being served a delicious dinner. At night, you'll sleep in AC cottages on comfy cots, listening to the wildlife outside.

    IMPORTANT: This is not a fixed departure trip, so a minimum group size of 4 pax is required to make a booking.

    Destination

    This beautiful campsite spreads out over 22 acres of land that are yours to explore. You'll have plenty of adventure activities to try your hand at. In the monsoon, the green cover blossoms into a wonderful canopy, attracting birds and wildlife. The Kundalika river is gentle and peaceful, except for the 2 hours during which dam water from Bhira dam is released, turning it into a gushing force of nature.

    This campsite is easily accessible from Mumbai and Pune, and will be a memorable adventure outing for a gang of friends or a family.

    Rules on the trip

    All travellers will have to abide by the decisions taken by the tour leaders when it comes to safety and trip participation.

    Consumption of alcohol or drugs is not permitted.

    Please note that laundry sevice is not available at the campsite.

    Participants must respect local culture and should not litter or deface natural structures/monuments.

    Cancellation policy

    Cancellation charges are as follows:

    For cancellations made 0-8 days before date of check-in for the Kolad rafting trip: No refund.

    For cancellations made 8-20 days before date of check-in for the Kolad rafting trip: 50% of the trip cost minus any transaction charges will be refunded.

    For cancellations made 20-30 days before date of check-in for the Kolad rafting trip: 75% of the trip cost minus any transaction charges will be refunded.

    For cancellations made 30 days or more before date of check-in for the Kolad rafting trip: 100% of the trip cost minus any transaction charges will be refunded.

    No show: No refund.

    Transfer of booking will be permitted where feasible and will be at the discretion of the management.

  • Day 1 of Kolad rafting trip: Arrival at the campsite

    You can check-in any time after 17:00 hrs. Enjoy a hot cup of tea and some vegetarian snacks, relax for a while and take in the beauty around, or go for a short walk. At night, there is a campfire and dinner. You'll spend the night in AC cottages.

    Day 2 of Kolad rafting trip: Adventure day!

    Enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading to the start point of your rafting. Your 2-hour rafting session covers 12 kms of the Kundalika river and is a delightful experience. At the end, you can take a dip in the river if you like. Return to the campsite for lunch and a shower, and then spend some time on other adventure activities like rappelling, ziplining, and more. It's time to check out at 15:00 hrs. Trip ends here.
